Complaints Policy

1.  We at DPS International Kampala believe in transparency and take complaints and suggestions in a positive
way to improve our working style. If any parent is unhappy with the education that their child is receiving,
or has any concern relating to the school, we encourage that person to talk to the child’s class teacher
immediately. And write an email to Principals at (principalacademics@dpsuganda.com,principal@dpsuganda.com).

2.   We give careful consideration to all complaints and deal with them as swiftly as possible. We aim to resolve any
complaint through dialogue and mutual understanding and, in all cases, we put the interests of the child
above all other issues. We provide sufficient opportunity for any complaint to be fully discussed, and then
resolved.

3.  Where a parent feels that a situation has not been resolved through contact with the class teacher,
and Principal or that their concern is of a sufficiently serious nature, they should make an appointment
to discuss it with the Principal and can take the matter with  our Hon’ble Chairman.
The Principal considers any such complaint very seriously and investigates each case thoroughly.
Most complaints are normally resolved at this stage.

EXAM RULES:

• • DPS Kampala students are not expected to use unfair means during examinations.
  • The students are liable to be penalized if found doing so.
  • Final semester (Summative Assessment II) exams, if missed, must be taken again for promotion to the next class.
  • Any student who misses out any semester (Summative Assessment) exam (I or II) will not be considered for any academic award. And will not be promoted to the next class.
  • Assignments & MCQ are not conducted again, if missed.
