DPSI students who performed Dance in the India Day program were honoured with participation certificates issued by the Indian Association & Lohana Community, Kampala. They received special appreciation and the Certificates from the School Principal Mr. Swami.
DPSI Boys Cricket team won Championship ( among Central Regional Schools) in the UCA Annual Boy's Schools Cricket tournament conducted by Uganda Cricket Association. They were awarded with the Championship Trophy & certificates by the UCA. The team members were honored & appreciated in the School Assembly by the Principal Mr. Swami.
All this was made from waste material on streets littered by our students in the Best out of Waste Competition.
We celebrate all heroes, from those wearing masks, to front liners and everyone in-between.

Christmas Celebration - Jingle Bells Party to be conducted on 22nd December 2019 from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm.
As part of the celebration Fireless Cooking (for senior classes) competition and Folk dance Competition ( for Primary classes) were conducted.
Class 11, 8 & 5 Parents-Teachers Meeting was organized on 30th November 2019. DPSI School Mobile Application access code was provided to the parents during this meeting. Academic processes of this academic year were also discussed during the PTM. "Together we give our children the Roots to grow & the Wings to fly".
DPSI celebrated Orange Day on 29th November during which it involved in fun-filled activities.

Parents-Teachers Meeting (PTM), for Class 10 and 12 was organized on 19th October 2019. There were lots of healthy interactions from Teachers, Parents, and Students in regard to the academic performance of students.
This was the ‘Best out of Waste’ Campaign by Students of Class 1,2, 3 & 6 to 12 aiming at creating awareness among themselves and fellow students on making use of wastes.
DPSI Students put up a Splendid Performance on the Purulia Chhau dance & emerged as Winners under 11 to 16 years category in the Sharad Purnima Folk dance competition 2019, organized by Lohana Community of Kampala.

DPSI Exhibition & Open day was held on 7th September 2019 at the school premises location at Naguru,Kampala. The event was inaugurated by DPSI PTA Members Mr. Sasi Nair & Mr. Sunu. The key objective of the Expo was to bring out the hidden talents and innovative ideas of the students. Around 300 exhibits have been displayed.

Modeling a child to becoming what you want them to be starts from as early as infantry. On 19th. July. 2019, our Pre-Primary students observed the Community Helpers day, where many dressed up to various professions.
Blue is the colour of the sky and sea. It is often associated with depth and stability. On 13th July, 2019 General Counselling session was conducted for class-10 & 12 students.

DPSI Students Council Election was conducted on 18th June. Votes were counted on 20th June & the results were declared on 21st June,2019. Our Best Students in the Class 12 CBSE Board Examinations 2018.
Greetings to all of you, we have great news.
Four of our students who excelled through Class-12 CBSE Board Examination have been selected to join Medicine Courses at Makerere University.
2017 Dance competition during the auspicious festival of Navratri was conducted at Lohana Academy Kampala. DPSI students won Runners up Trophy & cash award. Congratulations to all the participants & trainers.
Every year on 2nd October, India celebrates the birth of its iconic leader Mahātmā Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. By remembering him on his birthday, DPSI students celebrated Gandhi Jayanti (a national festival in India) paying tribute to Mahatma Gandhi.
Mahatma Gandhi's Birthday is also observed as International Day of Non-Violence. At DPSI, we held Silent Prayers, praying for the peace of the world, which is important for the better future of mother earth. We had special speeches highlighting the importance of Gandhi Jayanti and Non-violence.

UKG Kids successfully completed their pre-primary classes & promoted to primary class 1
Summative Assesment II kicked off on the 14th/March /2017 and end on the 23rd/March/2017 and the school closes for annual vaccation on the 24th/march/2017 the school will reopen on 15th/may/2017.

The school was officially opened last Saturday (October 31, 2015) by the education minister Maj. (Rtd) Jessica Alupo.
With the acquisition of the Indian School of Uganda by Sudhir, this leaves Delhi Public School as the only institution using the Indian curriculum in Uganda.
