ABOUT US
Class I to V
This primary curriculum builds curiosity and a passion for learning in children as per appropriate age group. At Primary level, we integrate the curriculum with NCERT (National Council of Education, Research and Training). It provides a platform for all the children to exhibit their hidden talents and caliber.
The school believes in the system of learning by practicing. It is a stimulating and motivating way for students to learn. It strengthens their understanding of a concept by giving them practical, first-hand experience of the concept through various activities and projects.
It endeavors to equip children with the knowledge and skills that will serve them not only in their lives as children but later as adults; it is concerned to develop their capacity for creative expression and response; and it promotes their emotional and physical development.
In classes I to V, the focus is on encouraging inquiry, exploration and on inculcating confidence in key learning skills – reading, writing, listening, speaking, information technology capability, problem-solving, observation and measurement. Children are encouraged to speak and perform at assemblies, concerts, sports and thus gain confidence in their ability to communicate to a wider audience through a team building ability.
We recognize that children at this level are active, curious, experimental, imaginative, and talkative and, above all, disconcertingly frank. Each child is an individual with his or her own unique abilities, interests, aspirations and expectations.
Therefore, our curriculum in these classes is structured to encourage and motivate them to become self-confident, self-reliant and self-disciplined, and thus help them achieve full potential. The School seeks to achieve this through a variety of curricular and co-curricular programmes.
Children learn and develop through a number of informal methods like activities, projects, presentations and hands-on experiences, apart from formal learning.
Outdoor and indoor play and games. We have exciting experiential learning opportunities through field trips which are planned for specific educational purposes.
There is an appropriate balance of whole group, small group and individual activities, which caters for individual differences in learning.
There is an inter-disciplinary appreciation of Language, Mathematics, Social Studies and Science by learning as individual subjects as well as in an integrated way.

We also have Computer Courses. This introduces students to the concept and reality of information and communication technology. It also provides a framework in which practical skills and knowledge can be acquired and developed.
Through our teaching, we offer opportunities in Dance, Fine Arts, Western and Indian Music, Speech and Drama and Yoga. This facilitates a well-rounded development for the learners. These are part of the regular curriculum, and are also being offered as co-curricular and core activity programmes.
There is also participation in co-curricular activities, which are held on Saturdays. Students who show special interest or who are talented in any sporting or non-sporting areas are offered further opportunities through the core activity programme.
